Introduction

Thank you for your ongoing support of the Advocates. As an established organisation committed to the preservation of our precious river environment, various volunteer committees have worked hard for a number of years on initiatives to preserve the fishery and river surrounds. We have had some notable achievements including creating awareness about the threat of Didymo, controlling wilding pines, planting of river reserves, analysing river flows and correlating with lake levels, improving access and getting the many groups involved with the Tongariro River to work towards an integrated approach to future planning.

The current Committee recognises the superb support we get from our members and we want to find better ways to help engage you in the Advocate’s future activities. We want to know to what extent we are focussed on the right things and whether our advocacy approach is right. In short, are we doing the ‘right things right’?

That’s why we’ve put together a brief questionnaire that should take no more than 10 minutes of your time to complete and return in the attached envelope. Alternatively, if we have your email address you will have received an electronic version of this file and are welcome to complete it electronically and email it to the address below.
